Potholes, washboard, mud, and washouts — regraded, recrowned, and rebuilt to shed water, with rock billed by the ton so you see exactly what material costs. We also pull stumps, repair rough lawns, spread topsoil, fix drainage, and handle excavation and site prep across Paducah and Western Kentucky — every job with a written scope before a machine shows up.

Every project — from a driveway to a building pad — gets a defined scope, a written price, and same-day communication if anything changes. You'll know what things cost before work begins.
Potholes, washboard, mud, and washed-out edges — regraded, recrowned, and rebuilt to shed water. Rock billed per ton, on its own line.
Stumps dug out completely — roots and all, not ground off at the surface — hole refilled with replacement soil, compacted, and left ready for seed or sod.
Ruts, low spots, drainage humps, and construction scars — regraded and dressed with screened topsoil, finish-ready for seed.
Brush, briars, and saplings ground in place — no burn piles, no haul-off. Scheduled in dedicated mulching weeks so you get owner-operated work at a fair price.
Standing water, failed culverts, and washouts fixed at the cause — ditching, crowning, grassed waterways, and culvert installation and repair that makes repairs last.
Building pads, final grade, lot cleanup, and gravel construction entrances for builders and owners — quoted from a site walk, scheduled to your build.
Full clearing for building sites: trees dropped and removed or burned on-site where permitted, stumps grubbed, ground left build-ready. Quoted from a site walk.
Two quick calculators — price a stump pull, a lawn fix, or both. Book them together and one trip covers both.

Brush and small trees ground into mulch where they stand. Priced per acre by density — when in doubt, look at what you can't walk through. Mulching jobs are scheduled into dedicated equipment weeks; most bookings run within 2–4 weeks.

Price, timeline, and exactly what's included — in writing before any machine is scheduled. Rock and materials are their own line items.
Ryan runs the scope, the schedule, and the quality standard — proven operators run the machines. If anything changes on site, you hear about it the same day, not on the invoice.

Morreau Land & Site is run by Ryan Morreau — the same Ryan behind Morreau Construction, the Paducah custom home builder with a 5.0★ Google rating and 25+ homes personally managed across Western Kentucky. Lifelong Paducah resident. Husband to Sarah, father of two.
Land work here runs the same way the home builds do: a written scope and price before any machine is scheduled, work performed by proven operators from the same vetted trade network, and one person — Ryan — answerable for schedule, budget, and the finished result. If something changes on site, you hear about it the same day. Not on the invoice.
A regrade and recrown on a typical 100–200 ft driveway runs $650–$1,200. A full restore with fresh rock typically lands between $2,500–$4,200 depending on length and rock depth. Use the calculator above for your driveway's range — rock is always billed per delivered ton, on its own line, so you see the real material cost.
Yes — $450 for light excavation and $650 for driveway work (a four-hour machine minimum at our equipment rate). Getting a machine loaded, hauled, unloaded, and back costs the same whether the job takes twenty minutes or all day, so the minimum covers mobilization. The good news: it also means adding work to a scheduled visit is cheap. One stump isn't worth the trip — one stump plus the low spot in the yard plus the driveway ruts usually is, and you only pay mobilization once.
Full removal — root ball dug out, hole refilled with replacement soil and compacted — typically runs $160–$700 per stump all-in depending on size, with most yard stumps landing between $250–$410 including the fill dirt. When the root ball comes out, its soil goes with it, so replacement fill is part of the job and shows as its own line on your quote. That's removal, not grinding: nothing left to rot, sink, or sprout. Multiple stumps in one visit share the mobilization, so the per-stump price drops as the count goes up. Use the calculator above for your number.
Screened topsoil delivered, spread, and graded typically runs $80–$110 per yard installed — a 2,000 sq ft lawn dressed at 2 inches is roughly 14 yards ($1,100–$1,550 installed). Regrading without new soil is priced by area. Topsoil is billed per delivered yard on its own line, so you see exactly what material costs.
In Western Kentucky growth: light brush typically $950–$1,200 per acre, medium brush $1,200–$1,500, and heavy growth with 4–8″ trees $1,800–$2,200. Minimum booking is one machine day ($2,400). Mulching grinds everything in place — no burn piles, no hauling — and jobs are scheduled into dedicated mulching weeks, which is how we keep specialized equipment affordable. Most bookings run within 2–4 weeks.
Full land clearing — trees dropped and removed or burned on-site where permitted, stumps grubbed, ground left build-ready — typically runs $2,000–$4,500+ per acre in Western Kentucky and is always quoted from a site walk, since tree size and disposal method drive the price.
That's usually the right question — most failed driveways are drainage problems wearing a gravel disguise. We handle culverts, ditching, and crowning so the repair lasts instead of washing out next spring.
Every project is quoted, scheduled, and managed personally by Ryan Morreau — the work is performed by proven equipment operators from the same vetted trade network behind Morreau Construction, under Ryan's oversight. One point of contact, one person accountable, from first call to final walkthrough.
